INFORMATON ABOUT THE 2012 DOVETON SHOW

The 8th Annual Doveton Show is to be held on Sunday 23 September 2012 at Myuna Farm from 10am to 4pm.

Held each year at the same time as the Royal Melbourne Show, the Doveton Show has been an exceptionally successful community-driven initiative, attracting over 15,000 attendees in 2012, showcasing the Doveton Eumemmerring community and providing a low-cost alternative to the Melbourne Show.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THE EVENT IS FREE HOWEVER ALL GOLD COIN DONATIONS GO TO RUNNING NEXT YEARS DOVETON SHOW.

WHATS PLANNED FOR THIS YEAR

This full day event is well supported by local community members and features a variety of activities including:
* music and dance performances;
* an animal nursery;
* amusements and rides;
* face painting;
* sporting activities;
historical engine displays;
* show bags;
* market stalls;
* art and craft
displays and workshops;
* food stalls;
* train rides

Program information will be released in August 2012.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED

- Book a stall or information display

- Do a sports exhibit

Registrations will open in May 2012
